All Participants and visitors to the 2nd Annual historic Time Line Event are cordially
invited to an Open House at the Battle of Fredericktown Civil War Museum. While the
facility is not yet officially opened, visitors to our town will have an opportunity to see
"Historic Preservation" in action. The open House will take place Saturday and Sunday
from Noon till 4pm. All visitors who sign the guest book will be eligible for door prize
drawings.
On Sunday, May 4, 2008 the battle of Fredericktown Civil War Museum will Be
officially dedicated and opened to the public. This building is located just one block south
of the Madison County Courthouse in Fredericktown, Mo.
The World Bird Sanctuary will bring a live Bald Eagle to participate in the opening as
well as serve as the focal point for the parade float sponsored by the foundation for
Historic Preservation, owners of the civil war Museum. This will present a fantastic photo
opportunity for all Civil war re-enactors who would like to have their photo taken with the
most famous mascot of the Civil War.
